The Battle of Liège

A Lego stop animation by JD Brick Productions featuring The Battle of Liège, a WW1 conflict between German and Belgian forces. What an honor to work on something this cinematic and thrilling. Special thanks to Daniel Davis for his absolutely terrifying score! I go to do the sound design, the final audio mix, and even some of the German voice acting ;).

Combo Devils

Check out the wicked awesome trailer for Combo Devils. The sound design for the trailer was created in collaboration with Alana Portzline and Jacob Malasky, a few of my esteemed colleagues. I had the privilege of writing the music and doing the final audio mix!

A Safe Place

A Safe Place is a music album dedicated to capturing the essence of emotional safety in our turbulent world. It is my first personal album of music and I hope it fulfills its design of bringing people peace and introspection.

Stowaway

Student Emmy award-winning film Stowaway was the 2021 BYU Animation Film. I was the lead sound designer and mixer for the film. I was responsible for the voice over recording, the music mixing, all the sound design and foley, and finally the full mix. My work on this film was recognized by the Audio Engineering Society (AES) with a Gold award at their 2022 Student Recording Competition for the Sound for Visual Media category.

Bio

Andrew Brewer is an AES Gold Award winning audio engineer and composer. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in audio engineering. Naturally, Andrew has a deep fascination with unique mixing techniques and new audio plugins, earning him the nick-name "Audio Wizard" among his colleagues. Despite the many years of post-production experience, Andrew continues developing his passions for video game sound and music production. His music has been featured on CBS and Prime Video, along with other live broadcast networks.

Aside from his work, Andrew enjoys roller-blading down long trails and watching anime with his wife Kyra. He also loves playing strategy RPGs. Currently, Andrew is the lead mix engineer for Magnum Opus Music Library, a music catalogue distributed by Amphibious Zoo.
